Day adventure at Hell's Gate

The place sounds ominous, but it is far from it. An enchanting gorge valley with untouched nature as far as the eye can see, a stream gurgles at the bottom of the gorge, and a nature trail leads you to a viewing platform with stunning views of the gorge valley.

I've been here a few times and I've always been able to be almost on my own, that's how unknown the place feels. I don't understand why, because this is one of the most beautiful natural destinations I've ever been to.

The site is located in Eno and is easy to get to. There are not many signs, so it is worth using a navigation system. It is about 50km from Joensuu. The route to the viewing platform is about 1km. The climb is relatively flat and easy to walk. You can get more out of the place if you go on an adventure to the bottom of the gorge and also look at the nature around you. So, don't go on an adventure and towards new experiences!

Throw off your shoes and go for a walk along the stream. Fresh pleasure for your feet and mind is guaranteed.

Among the untouched nature, there is also a collapsed and dilapidated cottage, what stories this holds...

The views from the observation deck are amazing! I would love to come back here to see these landscapes again.
